Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Long Pond 
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act , I designate the area generally known as the Long Pond Water Supply Area for the Town of Beachside as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Baie Verte abutted and bounded as follows:

By a line drawn from Military Grid Reference NAD 27, Zone 21,  575,550 metres east 5,495,350 metres north 2° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,050 metres from the commencement point;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 44° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,150 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 104° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 675 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 206° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 875 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 242° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 700 metres; and

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 222° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 800 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to Grid North.
