Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Mark's Pond Brook,
WS-S-0609, Local Service District of Rattling Brook
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act , I designate the area generally known as the Water Supply Area of Mark's Pond Brook, WS-S-0609 for the Local Service District of Rattling Brook as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Trinity North abutted and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 930 metres and northing 5 497 703 metres;

Then running in a westerly direction for a distance of 197 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 733 metres and northing 5 497 687 metres;

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 344 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 584 metres and northing 5 497 997 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 291 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 520 metres and northing 5 498 282 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 170 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 581 metres and northing 5 498 440 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 100 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 559 metres and northing 5 498 537 metres;

Then running in a easterly direction for a distance of 246 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 801 metres and northing 5 498 582 metres;

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 201 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 691 metres and northing 5 498 750 metres;

Then running in a westerly direction for a distance of 120 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 571 metres and northing 5 498 750 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 127 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 471 metres and northing 5 498 672 metres;

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 172 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 391 metres and northing 5 498 824 metres;

Then running in a westerly direction for a distance of 85 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 307 metres and northing 5 498 834 metres;

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 83 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 242 metres and northing 5 498 886 metres;

Then running in a westerly direction for a distance of 126 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 116 metres and northing 5 498 879 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 247 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 145 metres and northing 5 499 125 metres;

Then running in a easterly direction for a distance of 324 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 462 metres and northing 5 499 054 metres;

Then running in a easterly direction for a distance of 325 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 560 775 metres and northing 5 498 966 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 198 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 561 124 metres and northing 5 498 185 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 165 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 561 127 metres and northing 5 498 020 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 196 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 561 069 metres and northing 5 497 833 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 190 metres, more or less, to the point of commencement.

All coordinates refer Zone 21 of the NAD 83 Universal Transverse Mercator Projection.

The Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Mark's Pond Brook , Consolidated Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 646/96, is repealed.
