Town of Bay de Verde Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)
Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act
and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.
ORDER
Analysis
Short title
1.
This Order may be cited as the Town of Bay de Verde Order
.

The boundaries of the Town of Bay de Verde are as set out in the Schedule.

Newfoundland
Regulations 43/78 and 680/78 are repealed.

Schedule
Beginning at a point in the northeastern shoreline of the Bay de Verde
Peninsula
, that point being locally known as Barrett's Rock;
Then in a generally westerly direction to the point of intersection of the centre line of
Red Head Cove Access Road
with the centre line of the Bay de Verde Highroad;
Then in a generally northerly direction to a point, that point being perpendicularly distant 152 metres, more or less, from the centre line of the Bay de Verde Highroad;
Then in a generally westerly direction parallel to and 152 metres, more or less, from the centre line of Bay de Verde Highroad to a point on the centre line of the Access Road to Grates Cove, that point being 152 metres, more or less, generally north of a point of intersection of the centre line of the Grates Cove Access Road with the centre line of Bay de Verde Highroad;
Then in a generally southerly direction along the centre line of the
Grates Cove Access Road
a distance of 152 metres, more or less, to its point of intersection with the centre line of the main Bay de Verde Highroad;
Then south a distance of 1,775 metres, more or less, to a point in the northern shoreline of Bay de Verde, that point being locally known as "Blue Cliff";
Then in a generally easterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to Split Point;
Then in a generally northwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the northeastern shoreline of the Bay de Verde
Peninsula
to the point of beginning.
All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
