CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 854/96

Glenwood Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96-173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Glenwood Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point, that point being located on the western bank of the Gander River and being directly below the centre line of the TCH at the western abutment of a bridge that carries the TCH over the Gander River ;

Then in a generally northerly direction following the sinuosities of the western bank of that river a distance of 900 metres, more or less, to a point where a power line crosses the western bank of that river;

Then in a generally westerly direction a distance of 2,200 metres, more or less, to a point on the southern shoreline of Salmon Pond;

Then in a generally westerly direction following the sinuosities of that shoreline to a point where an unnamed brook flows into Salmon Pond;

Then in a generally southwesterly direction following the centre thread of the brook a distance of 100 metres, more or less, to the centre line of the TCH;

Then running south 3° 30' west a distance of 4,800 metres to a point on the southern extremity of an unnamed pond;

Then running south 88° east a distance of 2,900 metres, more or less, to a point on the west bank of the Gander River;

Then in a generally northerly direction following the sinuosities of the west bank of the Gander River to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to grid north.
