CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 896/96

Pacquet Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96-202)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Pacquet Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at the highwater mark on the easternmost extremity of Rouge Point on the western side of Pacquet Harbour ;

Then south 70° 00' west a distance 5,150 metres, more or less, to the westernmost extremity of an unnamed pond which flows into a pond locally known as Mill Pond;

Then north 25° 00' east a distance of 6,400 metres, more or less, to an unnamed brook which flows into Hardy Harbour;

Then in a southerly direction along the shoreline at the highwater mark, passing Cape St. Martin , Teakettle Cove, Pelee Point, Soup Point to Rouge Point, the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 National Topographic Mapping, 1981 edition.
