CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 908/96

Port Hope Simpson Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96-202)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Port Hope Simpson Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point where Bobbys Brook flows into Alexis River ;

Then in a generally eastward direction along the southern bank of Alexis River a distance of approximately 12.87 kilometres to where an unnamed brook flows into Alexis River ;

Then in a generally southward and eastward direction along the western bank of the unnamed brook a distance of approximately 1.9 kilometres to a small unnamed pond;

Then in a generally southward direction along the western bank of the unnamed pond a distance of approximately 80 metres to an unnamed brook;

Then in a generally southwestward direction along the western bank of the unnamed brook a distance of approximately 580 metres to an unnamed pond;

Then south 43° 30' west a distance of 1.34 kilometres, more or less, to the northwestern end of an unnamed pond;

Then south 21° 00' west a distance of 2.01 kilometres, more or less, to an unnamed brook where the brook flows out of an unnamed pond;

Then north 85° 30' west a distance of 2.57 kilometres to a point on the eastern bank of an unnamed brook;

Then in a generally northward and westward direction along the eastern bank of the unnamed brook a distance of approximately 2.23 kilometres to Black Water Brook;

Then in a generally southwestward direction along the southern bank of Black Water Brook a distance of approximately 2.41 kilometres to an unnamed pond;

Then in a generally northward direction along the western bank of the unnamed pond to an unnamed brook;

Then in a generally southwestward and northwestward direction along the southern bank of the unnamed brook a distance of approximately 1.48 kilometres to an unnamed pond;

Then north 46° 30' west a distance of 3.13 kilometres to an unnamed brook where the brook flows out of an unnamed pond;

Then north 50° 30' east a distance of 3.38 kilometres to an unnamed brook where the brook flows into Bobbys Brook;

Then in a generally northeastward direction along the western bank of Bobbys Brook a distance of approximately 4.18 kilometres to the point of beginning.

All bearings refer to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation.
