CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 949/96

Whitbourne Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96-173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Whitbourne Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point on the eastern limit of the Colinet Highway, that point being 400 metres, more or less, north of a power transmission line intersection;

Then running north 88° west to a point on the eastern limit of the Argentia Highway 200 metres north of the former railway crossing;

Then running in a generally northerly direction along the Argentia Highway to the southern limit of the Trans Canada Highway ;

Then running in a generally easterly direction along the Trans Canada Highway to a point one kilometre west of the intersection of the road to Ocean Pond;

Then due south a distance of 1,600 metres, more or less;

Then south 45° 00' west 1,500 metres, more or less, to the Canadian National Railway line;

Then following the railway line in a generally westerly direction to a point and from that point south to the eastern end of Hoopers Pond;

Then running due west to a point on the eastern limit of the Colinet Highway ;

Then running northerly along the eastern limit of that highway 250 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to grid north.
