Notice of Wellhead Protected Water Supply Area
of Town of
Eastport
under the
Environment Act

Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act, I designate an area within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Eastport as a wellhead protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the provincial Electoral District of Terra Nova abutted and bounded as follows:

That is to say by a line drawn from 3 ° traverse mercator, zone 1, NAD 27, bench mark 838021, 816,270.13 metres east, 17,684,474.78 metres north, 16 ° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 84 metres to the commencement point.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 34° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 75 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 51° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 275 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 166° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 327 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 125° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 146 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 170° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 163 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 197° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 119 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 213° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 397 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 306° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 270 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 341° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 86 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 0° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 143 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 8° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 353 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to Grid North.
