George's Brook-Milton Municipal Planning Area

Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000 , I define the following area as the George's Brook-Milton Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA


Beginning at a point on the centre line of Route 231 having coordinates east 233,953.220 metres and north 5,341,355.136 metres, more or less;

Then running in a westerly direction along the centre line of Route 231 to a point that intersects with the western limits of Route 230A having coordinates east 233,419.908 metres and north 5,341,365.199 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northwesterly direction to a point on the eastern limits of the Trans-Canada Highway having coordinates east 225,619.735 metres and north 5,345,156.056 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northwesterly direction to a point on the east side of Route 230 having coordinates east 224,527.144 metres and north 5,346,730.936 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northwesterly direction to a point having coordinates east 223,374.291 metres and north 5,347,815.261 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northerly direction to a point having coordinates east 223,216.398 metres and north 5,349,356.284 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northeasterly direction to a point having coordinates east 224,068.653 metres and north 5,350,819.585 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northeasterly direction to a point having coordinates east 225,558.293 metres and north 5,352,122.446 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southeasterly direction to a point having coordinates east 227,693.559 metres and north 5,350,622.432 metres, more or less;

Then heading south to a point having coordinates east 238,980.000 metres and north 5,347,060.000 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southwesterly direction to a point on the high water mark of the coastline having coordinates east 235,912.439 metres and north 5,343,462.948 metres, more or less;

Then running in a northwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the coastline to a point on the southeast side of the R.C. Brett Bridge having coordinates of east 235,281.372 metres and north 5,344,796.234 metres, more or less;

Then running in a southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the coastline to a point having coordinates east 233,956.580 metres and north 5,341,367.574 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southwesterly direction to the point of beginning.

All coordinates being scaled from 30cm Orthorectified Imagery and being referenced to the North American Datum 1983 (NAD83) using the Modified Transverse Mercator (MTM) Zone 1 Projection.
