Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Lees Pond, WS-S-0857, Town of Avondale
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act , I designate the area generally known as the Lees Pond Water Supply Area, WS-S-0857, for the Town of Avondale as a protected water supply area .

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Harbour Main abutted and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 331,683 metres and northing 5,248,434 metres;

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 310 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 331,556 metres and northing 5,248,717 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 620 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 331,492 metres and northing 5,249,334 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 155 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 331,502 metres and northing 5,249,489 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 306 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 331,584 metres and northing 5,249,784 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 1093 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 331,986 metres and northing 5,250,800 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 242 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 332,072 metres and northing 5,251,026 metres;

Then running in an easterly direction for a distance of 493 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 332,563 metres and northing 5,250,980 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 258 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 332,694 metres and northing 5,251,202 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 704 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 333,231 metres and northing 5,251,658 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 269 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 333,309 metres and northing 5,251,915 metres;

Then running in an easterly direction for a distance of 261 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 333,565 metres and northing 5,251,966 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 252 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 333,660 metres and northing 5,252,199 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 432 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 333,882 metres and northing 5,252,570 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 490 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 334,070 metres and northing 5,253,022 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 299 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 334,327 metres and northing 5,253,174 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 524 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 334,645 metres and northing 5,253,591 metres;

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 500 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 335,039 metres and northing 5,253,283 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 760 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 335,199 metres and northing 5,252,540 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 944 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 334,915 metres and northing 5,251,640 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 757 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 334,540 metres and northing 5,250,982 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 1924 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 333,013 metres and northing 5,249,811 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 1914 metres, more or less, to the point of commencement.

All coordinates refer to Zone 22 of the NAD 83 Universal Transverse Mercator Projection.

The Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Lees Pond , Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 5/06, is repealed .
