Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act, 1999 , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Deer Lake Order, 2021 .

        3. The Town of Deer Lake Order , Consolidated Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 146/96, is repealed.

SCHEDULE

Beginning at a point on the centerline of the Trans-Canada Highway having coordinates east 381,740.378 metres and north 5,447,412.030 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a general westerly direction to a point on a high water mark of Deer Lake having coordinates east 378,687.578 metres and north 5,447,128.207 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a general northerly direction to a point on a high water mark of an unnamed pond having coordinates east 378,090.050 metres and north 5,453,945.201 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northeasterly direction to a point on the centerline of an unnamed trail having coordinates east 380,135.050 metres and north 5,454,915.261 metres, more or less;

Then running in a general southeasterly direction along the center line of the unnamed trail to a point on the center line of The Viking Trail-Route 430 having coordinates east 380,300.525 metres and north 5,454,578.609 metres, more or less;

Then running in a southeasterly direction along the centerline of The Viking Trail-Route 430 to a point on the centerline of a bridge having coordinates east 382,619.385 metres and north 5,451,107.892 metres, more or less;

Then running in a general northeasterly direction along the sinuosities of Upper Humber River to a point on a high water mark of the eastern bank of Junction Brook having coordinates east 386,581.741 metres and north 5,454,820.357 metres, more or less;

Then running in a general southeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the north east bank of Junction Brook to a point on the north east side of "Main Dam" having coordinates east 395,497.388 metres and north 5,451,922.501 metres, more or less;

Then running in a southwesterly direction along "Main Dam" to a point on a high water mark of the shoreline having coordinates east 395,323.156 metres and north 5,451,799.566 metres, more or less;

Then running in a general southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to a point on a high water mark approximately 280 metres from the mouth of Bugging Hole having coordinates east 393,378.707 metres and north 5,450,618.434 metres, more or less;

Then running in a general southeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to a point on a high water mark approximately 275 meters from the mouth of Hicks Cove having coordinates east 393,982.809 metres and north 5,450,170.941 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southwesterly direction to a point on a high water mark on the southeastern side of Glide Brook having coordinates east 387,040.526 metres and north 5,442,044.727 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northwesterly direction to a point on the centerline of the Trans-Canada Highway having coordinates east 379,065.544 metres and north 5,444,587.819 metres, more or less;

Then running in a northeasterly direction along the centerline of the Trans-Canada Highway back to the point of beginning.

All coordinates being scaled from 30cm Orthorectifed Imagery and being referenced to the North American Datum 1983, (NAD83) using the Modified Mercator (MTM) Zone 3 Projection.
