Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act
and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.
ORDER
Analysis
Short title
1.
This Order may be cited as the Town of Point Lance Order
.

The boundaries of the Town of Point Lance are as set out in the Schedule.

Newfoundland
Regulation 776/78 is repealed.

Schedule
Beginning at the intersection of the southern bank of the
Big
Gulch
River
and the eastern shoreline of
Golden
Bay
;
Then running in a generally southerly direction along the shoreline to Redland Point;
Then running in a generally easterly direction along the shoreline to Bull Island Point;
Then following the shoreline of Lance Cove to Point Lance;
Then running north 17° east 6,850 metres, more or less, to the point of highest elevation of a knoll known locally as The Whale's Back;
Then running due west 6,100 metres, more or less, to the eastern bank of the Big Gulch River;
Then running in a generally southwesterly direction along the eastern bank of the
Big
Gulch
River
to the place of beginning.
All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
