Town of Point Leamington Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Point Leamington Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Point Leamington are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 761/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at the most southerly point in the south shoreline of Harvey's Cove at the west entrance to Point Leamington Harbour and then running south 60° west 4,570 metres, more or less;

Then running south 4,270 metres, more or less;

Then running east 5,180 metres, more or less, to the centre point of a bridge spanning Two Mile Brook on the Point Leamington Highroad;

Then running north 5° east 5,270 metres, more or less, to the most southerly point of Bard Island Pond;

Then running west 760 metres, more or less, to a point in the eastern shoreline of Point Leamington Harbour;

Then running along the sinuosities of the eastern shoreline in a generally southwesterly direction to the mouth of a small stream which flows out of Little Pond;

Then running along the sinuosities of the western shoreline in a generally northeasterly direction to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
