Town of
Whitbourne Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)
Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act
and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.
ORDER
Analysis
1.
This Order may be cited as the Town of Whitbourne Order
.
2.
The boundaries of the Town of
Whitbourne
are as set out in the Schedule.
3.
Newfoundland
Regulation 859/78 is repealed.

Schedule
Beginning at a point, that point being where the CN rail line crosses the 30 metre eastern reservation of the
Argentia Highway
;
Then running in a generally northerly direction along the reservation to the 45 metre southern reservation of the
Trans Canada Highway
;
Then running in a generally easterly direction along the 45 metre southern reservation to a point, that point being a distance of 1,600 metres, more or less, east of the East Access Road to Whitbourne;
Then running south 2° east a distance of 5,375 metres, more or less, to a point on the eastern shoreline of Hoopers Pond;
Then running south 88° west a distance of 2,700 metres, more or less, to a point on the 15 metre eastern reservation of the Colinet Highway;
Then running in a generally northerly direction along the eastern reservation of the highway a distance of 375 metres, more or less;
Then south 88° west a distance of 3,450 metres, more or less, to the point of commencement.
All bearings being referred to grid north.
