Authorization to Approve the Transfer of Prisoners Order
under the
Penitentiary Act ( Canada )
(O.C. 96-142)

Under the authority of subsection 16(2) of the Penitentiary Act ( Canada ) and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

The officer holding the position of Assistant Superintendent of Her Majesty's Penitentiary, St. John's , is designated as an officer authorized to approve the transfer of prisoners from Her Majesty's Penitentiary in the province to any penitentiary in accordance with the Act.

The Order: re Authorization to Approve the Transfer of Prisoners, Newfoundland Regulation 144/91, is repealed.
