CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 882/96

Marystown Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96-173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Marystown Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at the top of Jemmy's Lookout;

Then in a generally southeasterly direction to the eastern extremity of Jean de Baie Islands ;

Then in a generally southwesterly direction to the southern extremity of Jean de Baie Head;

Then in a generally southwesterly direction to the southern extremity of Skiffsail Point;

Then in a generally southwesterly direction to the eastern extremity of Blow Me Down;

Then north 44° west a distance of 2,400 metres;

Then south 57° 30' west a distance of 5,850 metres, more or less;

Then south 88° west a distance of 3,850 metres, more or less, to the southern extremity of Southwest Arm;

Then in a generally northerly direction through the centre of Southwest Arm to a point 800 metres from the centre line of Route 222;

Then in a generally northwesterly direction being always parallel to and 800 metres from the centre line of Route 222 to a point on the southern bank of Tides Brook;

Then north 52° east to a point in the centre of Southwest Arm;

Then following the centre of Southwest Arm to the mouth of West Brook;

Then north 70° 30' west a distance of 2,800 metres, more or less;

Then north 42° east a distance of 17,000 metres, more or less;

Then south 45° east a distance of 8,000 metres, more or less, to the place of beginning.

All bearings being referred to grid north.
