CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 1059/96

Lockston Path Provincial Park Proclamation
under the
Provincial Parks Act
(O.C. 96-189)

Under the authority of section 4 of the Provincial Parks Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council proclaims the area described in the Schedule to be a provincial park.

                   The Proclamation re: Lockston Path Provincial Park, Newfoundland Regulation 146/89, is repealed.

Schedule

All that piece or parcel of land situate and being at Stock Cove Road, Bonavista Peninsula, in the province, abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say:

Beginning at a point in the westerly limit of Stock Cove Road, 30 metres wide, extending between Stock Cove and Port Rexton, that point having reference from Control Monument No. 834037 as follows: south 2° 19' 53" east 1,561.83 metres, and then north 42° 15' 53" west 41.29 metres, more or less, to the principal point of beginning;

Then running along the westerly limit of Stock Cove Road to a point being distant 2,983.18 metres as measured on a bearing of north 3° 27' 31" west from the last mentioned point;

Then running by Crown lands north 70° 30' 34" west 1,378.76 metres, and then south 50° 46' 3" west 2,173.51, and then south 25° 16' 26" east 2,722.56 metres, and then north 78° 43' 36" east 2,040.28 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning and containing an area of 773 hectares, more or less, and being more particularly shown on Special Plan of Survey No. 170 in the Crown Lands Registry.

All bearings being referred to the meridian of 53° west longitude of the 3° Transverse Mercator Projection.
