Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act, I designate the area generally known as the Upper Hodges Pond Water Supply Area for the Town of Lamaline as a protected water supply area. Dated at St. John's, November 19, 1996. Kevin Alyward NOTICE This area includes all lands described as follows: That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference zone 21 592,000 metres east 5,193,000 metres north 10° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 500 metres to the commencement point; Then from the above point by a line drawn at 316° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,050 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn at 29° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 550 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn at 313° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 675 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn at 346° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 550 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn at 285° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 425 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn at 54° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 625 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn at 335° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 800 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn at 65° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 700 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn at 127° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,350 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn at 169° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,025 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn at 156° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,675 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn at 247° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,000 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn at 273° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 350 metres to the point of commencement.
