Jipujijkuei Kuespem (Little River Pond) Provincial
Park Proclamation, 1997
under the
Provincial Parks Act

Under the authority of section 4 of the Provincial Parks Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council proclaims the area described in the Schedule to be a provincial park.

                   The Jipujijkuei Kuespem (Little River Pond) Provincial Park Proclamation , Consolidated Newfoundland Regulation 1056/97, is repealed.

Schedule

All that piece or parcel of land situate and being at River Pond, in the Electoral District of Fortune Bay-Cape La Hune, abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say:

Beginning at a point in the southwesterly limit of the Bay dEspoir Highway, 40 metres wide, that point being distant 1,878.63 metres as measured on a bearing of south 14° 10 34" east from the point of intersection of the northeasterly prolongation of the centre line of Conne River Road with the centre line of the Bay dEspoir Highway;

Then running by Crown lands south 75° 35 05" west 3,193.67 metres;

Then south 6° 21 58" west 695.69 metres;

Then south 21° 38 east 1,138.07 metres, more less;

Then running along the northerly limit of a forest access road, 20 metres wide, leading to the Bay dEspoir Highway to a point being distant 2,766.39 metres, more or less, as measured on a bearing of south 73° 16 37" east from the last mentioned point;

Then running along the westerly limit of the Bay dEspoir Highway in a northerly direction to a point in the southerly shoreline of River Pond;

Then running in a westerly direction along the southerly shoreline of River Pond to a point in the centre of the brook flowing from the west end of the River Pond;

Then running in an easterly direction along the northerly shoreline of the River Pond for a distance of 1,140 metres, more or less;

Then running by Crown land north 24° 00 west 400 metres;

Then north 75° 30 east 1,440 metres, more or less, to a point in the before mentioned westerly limit of the Bay dEspoir Highway;

Then running in a northerly direction along the westerly limit of the Bay dEspoir Highway to the point of beginning, the above described piece or parcel of land containing an area of 669 hectares, more or less.

All bearings being magnetic.
