EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Bill extends the exception for disclosure of information that could be harmful to intergovernmental relations or negotiations, to the Nunatsiavut Government.

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

as amended

              1.  Paragraph 23(1)(a) of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act is amended by deleting the word "or" at the end of subparagraph (iii), by deleting the semicolon at the end of subparagraph (iv) and replacing it with a comma and by adding immediately after subparagraph (iv) the following:

                     (v)  the Nunatsiavut Government; or
