EXPLANATORY NOTES Clauses 1 and 2 of this Bill would repeal the Bulk Sales Act. The Act is no longer necessary as the Act is antiquated and there are many alternate protections contained in other provincial legislation. Clauses 3 to 7 of the Bill are
consequential amendments which would be necessitated by the repeal of the Bulk Sales Act. |

RSNL1990 cT-5 Amdt. Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Bulk Sales Act Repeal Act. RSNL1990 cB-11 Rep. 2. The Bulk Sales Act is repealed. SNL1995 cC-37.1 Amdt. 3. Subsection 138(4) of the Credit Union Act is repealed. RSNL1990 cG.1 Amdt. 4. Section 34 of the Gasoline Tax Act is repealed. SNL2002 cM16.1 Amdt. 5. Section 34 of the Mining and Mineral Rights Tax Act, 2002 is repealed. RSNL1990 cR-15 Amdt. 6.
