Short title
1. This
Act may be cited as the Attorney General
Statutes Amendment Act, 2026.

2. Paragraph 85(3)(b) of the Access to
Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015 is amended by deleting the
words "the Clerk Assistant of the House of Assembly" and substituting
the words "the person appointed
under paragraph 10(1)(b) of the House of Assembly Accountability, Integrity
and Administration Act".

3. (1) Subsection 179.19(4) of the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Atlantic

(b) deleting the words "provincial
minister's" and substituting the words "federal minister's".
(2) Subsection 201.84(3) of the Act is amended by
deleting the words "him or her" and substituting the words "the
