         “THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this House now supports the development of the Muskrat Falls Hydro project.”

 

3. C MR. ANDREW PARSONS (Burgeo - LaPoile) C To Move:

 

“WHEREAS free and open access to Government information is essential to the function of the democratic process;

 

WHEREAS publicly held and publicly funded information should be released to the public unless there is a clear and sufficient reason to keep the matter confidential;

 

WHEREAS this Government has amended the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (ATIPPA) through Bill 29 which has created new and expansive categories of secret information.

 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this House urges Government to repeal Bill 29.”
