QUESTIONS

MR. DALE KIRBY (St.
John's North) - To ask the Honourable
the Minister of Health and Community Services to lay on the Table of the House
the following information:
(a) the number of children on the waiting list for a pediatric diagnosis of
autism spectrum disorder or other neuro-developmental
disorders;
(b) the number of pediatric diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder or other neuro-developmental disorders
carried out in Newfoundland and Labrador since October 11, 2011 ;
(c) the number of patients, if any, who have
been sent outside the province for a pediatric diagnosis of autism spectrum
disorder or other neuro-developmental
disorders since October 11, 2011, along with any associated cost to the
Province of Newfoundland and Labrador;
(d) the number of pediatricians working
for the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador who are qualified to provide
assessment, diagnostic, and supportive services related to autism spectrum
disorder and other neuro-developmental
disorders and
(e) the number
of vacancies that currently exist in the area of developmental pediatrics in
Newfoundland and Labrador.

Minister of Health and Community Services to lay
on the Table of the House information on the
number of children with autism spectrum disorder or other neuro-developmental disorders who are on the waiting
list for occupational therapy.

CHRISTOPHER MITCHELMORE (The Straits – White Bay North) - To ask the Honourable the Minister of Transportation and Works to lay on
the Table of the House the criteria used to arrive at the decision to cut the calcium
chloride program in the 2012-13 Budget.

the Table of the House the provincial inventory of gravel roads in Newfoundland
& Labrador.

of the House a plan with timeline for removing specific gravel roads from
provincial inventory through paving under the Provincial Roads Improvement
