Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
of Cooks Cove Pond
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act , I designate the area generally known as the Cooks Cove Pond Water Supply Area for the Town of Old Perlican as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Trinity - Bay de Verde abutted and bounded as follows:

By a line drawn from military grid reference NAD 27, Zone 22, 354,000 metres east, 5,331,000 metres north, 95 ° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 500 metres to the commencement point;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 117° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 400 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 218° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 900 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 204° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 700 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 235° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 850 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 260° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,200 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 293° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 275 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 346° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 900 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 12° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 475 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 53° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 550 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 97° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,150 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 80 ° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 450 metres; and

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 52° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,000 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to Grid North.
