Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Stakes Pond, WS-S-0392, Town of La Scie
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act , I designate the area generally known as the Stakes Pond Water Supply Area, WS-S-0392, for the Town of La Scie as a protected water supply area.

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Baie Verte – Green Bay abutted and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 600,439 metres and northing 5,533,912 metres;

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 233 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 600,630 metres and northing 5,533,779 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 127 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 600,743 metres and northing 5,533,836 metres;

Then running in an easterly direction for a distance of 229 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 600,971 metres and northing 5,533,817 metres;

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 274 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 601,123 metres and northing 5,533,589 metres;

The Notice of Protected Water Supply Area , Consolidated Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 706/96, is repealed.
