Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Pacquet Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Pacquet are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 769/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at Rouge Point at the southern entrance to the northwest arm of Pacquet Harbour and then running along the western boundary of Woodstock south 70° west a distance of 5,175 metres, more or less, to a point at the extreme western end of a small pond which empties into Mill Pond;

Then running north 25° east a distance of 6,400 metres, more or less, to a point at the mouth of a small brook which empties into Hardy Harbour;

Then running in a generally easterly direction along the shoreline to the most northern point of Cape St. Martin ;

Then running in a generally southerly and southeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline via Teakettle Cove and Little Pacquet to PeLee Point;

Then running along the sinuosities of the north, west and south shorelines of Northwest Arm via Pacquet to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
