Town of St. Alban 's Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of St. Alban's Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of St. Alban's are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 803/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point at highwater mark at Clarke Head on the western shoreline of Bay d'Espoir and then running south 80° west a distance of 3,225 metres, more or less;

Then running north 17° 30' west a distance of 2,800 metres, more or less, to a point on the northern bank of Southwest Brook;

Then running in a generally northeasterly direction along the northern bank to the junction point of Southwest Brook and Northwest Brook;

Then running north a distance of 1,975 metres, more or less;

Then running east a distance of 3,650 metres, more or less, to a point at highwater mark in Lee Cove;

Then running along the sinuosities of the western shoreline of Bay d'Espoir in a generally southwesterly, southerly and easterly direction via Swangers Cove to Snook's Point;

Then running along the sinuosities of the shoreline in a generally southerly direction to Cluett Head;

Then running along the sinuosities of the northern and western shorelines of the harbour of St. Alban 's to the point of beginning at Clarke Head.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
