Sally's Cove Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96-173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Sally's Cove Municipal Planning Area.


Beginning at a coastal point at approximately 2.35 kilometres southwestward along the coastline from Martin Point ;

Then along a line of demarcation with the Gros Morne National Park, Regional Surveyor Plan No. 82-14, south 62° 30' east 3,750 metres, more or less, south 27° 30' west 4,050 metres to a point having co-ordinates 5 507 150 metres north and 348 050 metres east, north 62° 30' west 4,000 metres, more or less, to a coastal point situated approximately one kilometre southwestward from Gun Point;

Then following the coastline generally northeastward along the Gulf of St. Lawrence via Gun Point and Sally's Cove to the point of beginning.

All bearings and co-ordinates refer to the 3° modified T.M. grid, central meridian 58° 30' west longitude.


Newfoundland Regulation 292/83 is repealed.
