Eastern Regional Service Board Order
under the
Regional Service Boards Act
(O.C. 2011-255)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Regional Service Boards Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Municipal Affairs, makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Eastern Regional Service Board Order .

Region continued

        2. The towns, local service districts and unincorporated areas within the area of the Town of Clarenville and east of it including Random Island and west of it including Swift Current formerly constituted as a region with the name of the Greater Avalon Region are continued as a region under the name the Eastern Region.

        3. The Greater Avalon Regional Service Board is continued under the name Eastern Regional Service Board for the purposes of providing regional services in accordance with the Act.

Repeal

        4. The Greater Avalon Regional Service Board Order , Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 14/08, is repealed.
