Forest Fire Season Order, 2026

Under the authority of section 97 of the Forestry Act, I make the following Order.

ORDER

Analysis

Short title

1. This Order may be cited as the Forest Fire Season Order, 2026.

Forest fire season

2. The forest fire season for 2026 shall be

(a) between the hours of 12:01 a.m. on May 1, 2026 and midnight on September 30, 2026 on the island portion of the province; and

(b) between the hours of 12:01 a.m. on May 15, 2026 and midnight on September 30, 2026 on the Labrador portion of the province.
