Town of
Musgravetown Order
under the
Municipalities Act

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act
and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

This Order may be cited as the Town of Musgravetown Order

The boundaries of the Town of
Musgravetown
are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal
3.
Newfoundland Regulations 735/78, 153/88 and 124/94 are repealed.

Schedule
Beginning at a point on the highwater mark of the western shoreline of
Goose
Bay
, that point being the easternmost extremity of the headland lying immediately south of locally known Arch's Cove;
Then in a generally southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to the point on the centre line of the north branch of Dungeon Brook;
Then in a generally westerly direction along the centre line of the brook to the eastern shoreline of Northwest Pond;
Then in a westerly direction along the northern shoreline to the northwestern extremity of Northwest Pond;
Then north 46° 30' east 7,200 metres, more or less, to a point;
Then south 43° 30' east 900 metres, more or less, to a point on a line 30 metres from the centre line of the old road to Canning's Cove;
Then in a generally southerly direction, parallel to and 30 metres from the centre line of the old road, to a point 30 metres from the centre line of the new road to Canning's Cove;
Then a distance of 30 metres to the centre line intersections;
Then south 80° 00' east a distance of 975 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning.
All bearings refer to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:2500 Crown Lands and Surveys Division, 1986 mapping and 1:50,000 National Topographic Mapping.
