Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Port Anson Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Port Anson are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

         3 Newfoundland Regulations 780/78 and 224/90 are repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point on the northwest shoreline of Sunday Cove Island , that point being the highwater mark on the western shoreline where an unnamed brook enters Hall's Bay;

Then south 30° east a distance of 2,450 metres, more or less, to a point on the highwater mark of the southern shoreline of Sunday Cove Island;

Then in a generally westerly and easterly direction along the highwater mark and following the sinuosities of the shoreline along Sunday Cove, Lobster Harbour , Sunday Cove Tickle, Mooring Cove, Hall's Bay and China Head to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to grid north.
