Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
under the
Environment Act
(O.C. 96-153)

Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council designates the area generally known as the Brigus Long Pond Water Supply Area as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands described as follows:

That is to say by a line drawn from the approximate centre of Thumb Peak 78° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,150 metres from the commencement point;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 21° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 450 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 95° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 725 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 121° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 650 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 224° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,500 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 183° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 525 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 230° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,250 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 222° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 750 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 275° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 525 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 233° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 700 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 310° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 300 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 241° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 700 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 13° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 750 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 62° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,075 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 06° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 700 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 356° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 500 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 33° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,150 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to Grid North.
