Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
under the
Environment Act
(O.C. 96-153)

Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council designates the area generally known as the Long Pond Water Supply Area, for the Community of Whiteway as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands described as follows:

That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference 315000 5290000 185° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 650 metres to the commencement point;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 137° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,925 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 162° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 575 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 218° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 2,875 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 313° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 950 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 348° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 550 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 35° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,100 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 315° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,300 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 24° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,075 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 80° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,000 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to Grid North.

The Long Pond Water Supply Area Notice for the Community of Whiteway , Newfoundland Regulation 196/89, is repealed.
