Under the authority of subsection 57(1) of the Lands Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council declares the area described below as the Marble Mountain Special Management Area .

MARBLE MOUNTAIN SPECIAL
MANAGEMENT
AREA

Beginning at a point on the northeastern extremity of Fox Bow Lake, that point being on the Corner Brook City boundary as gazetted on February 23, 1979, Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 625/78;

Then following that boundary in a southerly direction to the easternmost point on Wild Cove Lake;

Then continuing along that boundary in a southwesterly direction to a point on the northern shoreline of the Humber River;

Then in a northeasterly direction along the northern shoreline of that river 4,650 metres, more or less, to a point, that point having co-ordinates north 5 425 100 metres and east 441 725 metres;

Then north 23° 00' west approximately 1,025 metres to the summit of an unnamed hill;

Then south 66° 00' west approximately 1,075 metres to the southernmost tip of Rubber Lake where an unnamed stream drains that lake;

Then north 59° 00' west approximately 1,675 metres to the northeastern extremity of Fox Bow Lake, the point of beginning.

All bearings refer to grid north and as with distances and co-ordinates given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 National Topographic Mapping.
