Under the authority of section 57 of the Lands Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Wooddale Agriculture Development Area Order.

        2. The area described in the Schedule to this Order is established as the Wooddale Agriculture Development Area.

Repeal

        3. The Development Area of Wooddale (Agriculture) Order, 1978, Newfoundland Regulation 224/78, is repealed.

Schedule

All that piece or parcel of land situate in the Peters River area abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say, beginning at a point at the intersection of the centre line of the New Bay Road Bridge and the northerly bank of Peters River that point having co-ordinates of north 5 431 115 metres and east 335 435 metres;

Then running along the centre line of New Bay Road in a general northerly and northwesterly direction to a point at the intersection of a logging road and New Bay Road, that point having co-ordinates of north 5 435 192 metres and east 334 470 metres and being distant 4,190 metres as measured on a bearing of north 13° 19' west from last mentioned point;

Then running north 77° 45' east 5,720 metres to a point having co-ordinates north 5 436 405 metres and east 340 060 metres;

Then south 21° 31' east 3,138 metres to a point having co-ordinates north 5 433 485 metres and east 341 210 metres;

Then south 21° 4' west 3,006 metres to a point having co-ordinates north 5 430 680 metres and east 340 130 metres;

Then south 45° 43' west 1,578 metres to a point having co-ordinates north 5 429 578 metres and east 339 000 metres;

Then south 66° 37' west a distance of 3,443 metres to a point in the centre line of New Bay Road and having co-ordinates of north 5 428 212 metres and east 335 840 metres;

Then south 66° 43' west a distance of 4,180 metres to a point having co-ordinates of north 5 426 560 metres and east 332 000 metres;

Then north 31° 49' west 1,753 metres to a point on the northerly bank of Peters River and having co-ordinates of north 5 428 050 metres and east 331 075 metres;

Then following the northerly bank of Peters River in a generally northeasterly direction to the point of beginning and being distant 5,330 metres measured on a bearing of north 54° 53' east from last mentioned point and containing in all an area of 4,715 hectares that piece or parcel of land is more particularly shown on orthophoto maps - scale 1:12,500 available for viewing at the Department of Forest Resources and Agrifoods, Confederation Building, West Block, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, A1B 4J6.

All bearings herein refer to grid north of the 3° Transverse Mercator projection with central meridian at 53° west longitude.
