Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
under the
Environment Act

(Filed September 10, 1997)

Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act, I designate the area generally known as the Blue Gulch Pond Water Supply Area for the Town of Pasadena (East) as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands described as follows:

That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference, zone 21, 459,000 metres east 5,426,000 metres north 49° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 600 metres to the commencement point;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 42° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,450 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 310° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 475 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 282° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,275 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 338° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 275 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 21° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,025 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 74° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,425 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 65° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,725 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 136° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 475 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 77° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,925 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 192° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 2,025 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 208° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,025 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 235° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 2,125 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 284° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,975 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to Grid North.

The Notice of Protected Water Supply Area for Blue Gulch Pond, Consolidated Newfoundland Regulation 527/96, is repealed.
