Under the authority of section 11 of the Provincial Parks Regulations and the Provincial Parks Act , I make the following Order.

Analysis



Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Off-road Vehicle Operation in the T'Railway Provincial Park Prohibition Order.

Off-road vehicles prohibited

        2. The use of off-road vehicles in the Newfoundland and Labrador T'Railway Provincial Park is prohibited

             (a)  in those portions of the park lying within the boundaries of the City of St. John's and the City of Mount Pearl and continuing westward within the municipal boundary of the Town of Paradise, until the park intersects with the McNamara Road in that municipality; and

             (b)  in the area set out in the Schedule.

Schedule

All that piece or parcel of land situate and being in the Town of Conception Bay South in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, in the Electoral Districts of Topsail-Paradise, Conception Bay South and Harbour Main, abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say:

Beginning at a point on the centreline of the Newfoundland and Labrador T'Railway Provincial Park approximately 160 metres northeast of its intersection with Spruce Hill Road having coordinates east 355,137 metres, north 5,265,340 metres, more or less;

Then along the centreline of the Newfoundland and Labrador T'Railway Provincial Park, and including all right of way lands, in a general southwesterly direction for a distance of 18.3 kilometres ending at a point near Indian Pond having coordinates east 342,561 metres, north 5,258,452 metres, more or less;

As delineated at the Registry of Crown Titles in Special Plans 18 and 19.

All bearings and coordinates being referred to the meridian of the 51° west longitude of the 6° Transverse Mercator Projection, North American Datum 1983.
